Thomas Cerna

Thomas "Tom" Cerna spent the majority of his career in the field of financial regulations.  His background includes employment as a Senior Examiner with the self-regulatory agency known as FINRA, conducting financial and regulatory audits of financial industry member firms.  He later became the Director of Compliace at several financial investment firms before leaving the industry altogether to create the non-profit organization known as Youthire America, Inc.
Tom's inspiration for Youthire America was the realization that a person's career should be one that is personally fulfilling.  Too often people at a young age set off on a career path that is not personally rewarding.  This can lead to feelings of helplessness and despair, with little or no motivation to succeed.
It is therefore crucial during these early adult years to embark on a path that is set upon with the confidence in knowing that this path represents one's true passion.
Sometimes this is easier said than done.  Today technology has become an all consuming factor that acts as a distraction from focusing on what's most important.
Tom devised the Youthire concept to harness the power of technology - to employ it as an agent that provides the ability for Young Adults to find their true passion in life.
